    What makes the Braai-Braaimaster unit unique?

    The Braai-Braaimaster unit is the only unit made entirely of 304 stainless steel, with a double-walled 304 stainless steel ember maker.

    Product Description

    This wood-fired barbecue-open fireplace Braai-Braaimaster Single, made of 304 stainless steel, can be built in either inside or outside a pool house, a veranda or a kitchen. This Barbecue Braai comes with one grill, but by using one or more accessories, you can transform it into a plancha, a pizza oven or a rotisserie; whatever you like!
    The Braai is lit with wood and is built around a central element called a “ember maker”. Logs are placed in this stainless steel element and the bars forming the bottom of the ember maker hold the logs in place while allowing the embers to escape. The embers fall and can be distributed evenly in the lower receptacle; under the pot, grill, pizza stone, plancha, etc.
    In this model, the fireplace is by default installed on the right.

    Cooking over a wood fire has never been so enjoyable with the Braai

    The principle of this wood barbecue is not very complicated.
    First, you need to put logs of wood vertically in the ember maker and light it. The ember maker has bars underneath it, allowing both to hold the logs and to let the embers escape. Once the embers have fallen, you can now spread them out on the surface where you plan to heat and grill your food. You can also leave the embers in the middle if you have fairly large pieces of meat in order to cook them over time.


    For long cooking times, you may need to add logs to renew the embers.

    All you have to do is watch your food cook, the Braai takes care of the rest.

    The inside of the stainless steel unit of the Braaimaster build-in

    • slots on the sides ensure that grills are stable and can be pulled out easily
    • hinge pins have been made so that accessories (like the rotisserie and wok) can be pivoted in or out of the Braai.
    • the ember maker can be hung on the right or left side to enable the use of a large grill (which should not be done in a single-walled braai).

    • Cooking over a wood fire has never been more fun than with the Braai. A traditional South African custom, “having a Braai” means grilling meat and sharing it with friends and family.
      The whole Braai experience start with the ember maker. You start your Braai fire in the ember maker, and the braai will provide you with an endless supply of nice hot embers unlike any other barbecue.
    • The Braai is fully modular, which means that accessories can be exchanged at any time. Chicken on the rotisserie and vegetables on the plancha, this is all possible at the same time on the FS1200/Duo.
      All accessories can also be used in the Braai FS800/Single, but they must be used one after the other as the FS800 has only one cooking space.

      Trick: the direct heat from the ember maker can be used for cooking with a cast-iron pan. Perfect for high-temperature cooking (the use of BBQ gloves is a must here!).
