What makes the Braaimaster unit so unique?

The Braaimaster box is the only unit made entirely of 304 stainless steel and double-walled, with even a 304 stainless steel and double-walled ember maker. This means that:

The outer surfaces of the Braaimaster barbecue do not become extremely hot during use. This makes the Braaimaster very safe and ideal for installation in a veranda, pool house, garden shed, or even in an indoor kitchen.
The exterior coating will not be affected by heat and therefore does not require maintenance.

This solid Corten steel model on a stand (for wood storage) can be placed anywhere: in a garden, on a terrace, next to a swimming pool or even inside a pool house or veranda. Add a side table with a worktop, and you have an outdoor kitchen ready to use!

This freestanding Braaimaster in Corten steel can be used both indoors and outdoors.
It can be installed with or without a stand (for wood storage)

The Braai is wood-fired and is built around a central element called an “ember maker” Logs are placed in this stainless steel ember maker and the bars forming the floor of the charcoal maker hold the logs in place while allowing the embers to escape. The embers fall and can be distributed evenly in the lower coal pan under the pot, grill, pizza stone, or plancha.

The Braai is packed in a large, thick cardboard box which is placed on a pallet.

Installation:

The Braaimaster unit (the Braaimaster-box), is already pre-assembled, it must be placed on a solid worktop/furniture and then the chimney with the integrated louvered cap can be installed.

The freestanding models are equipped with a single-wall chimney topped with a louvered cap. However, it is recommended to switch to a double-walled flue if the Braai is placed in a sheltered or enclosed area (veranda, pool house, kitchen). In this case, we advise you to opt for the adapter and the chimney cover; the adapter allows you to connect the Braai to a double-walled flue. The chimney cover is used to hide the flue and complete the style of the Braai.

Advice

The freestanding models are equipped with a single-wall chimney topped with a louvered cap. However, it is recommended to switch to a double-walled flue if the Braai is placed in a sheltered or enclosed area (veranda, pool house, kitchen). In this case, we advise you to opt for the adapter and the chimney cover; the adapter allows you to connect the Braai to a double-walled flue. The chimney cover is used to hide the flue and complete the style of the Braai

Cooking over a wood fire with a Braai is a fun and versatile way to cook

The idea behind this wood-fired barbecue is pretty simple.

First, you need to place the logs vertically in the ember maker and light them. The charcoal maker has bars at the bottom to allow the charcoal to escape while the logs are held in place. Once the charcoal has fallen, you can spread it over the surface where you want to heat and grill your food. But you can also leave the embers in the middle to slowly cook beautiful pieces of meat.

For long cooking times, you may need to add logs to renew the embers.

All you have to do is watch your food cook; the Braai does the rest.

A double-walled interior made entirely of 304 stainless steel - an exclusive feature of this Braaimaster barbecue

Every freestanding Braaimaster has an double-walled interior made entirely of stainless steel. The double-walled hood prevents the outer surface from becoming hot (the temperature in a Braai can reach 600/700°C). The layer of air between the two walls of the hood acts as insulation, limiting heat transfer between the inner and outer surfaces. Thanks to the double-walled unit, the freestanding Braaimasters are particularly well suited for use inside a veranda, pool house, garden shed, etc.
Furthermore, the unit of each black Braaimaster is made of high-quality, uniformly black powder-coated 304 stainless steel.
No other Braai has a double-walled 304 stainless steel unit, which makes this Braaimaster unique and extremely strong and durable.
On top of that, a double-walled, black powder-coated hood requires no maintenance!

Cooking over a wood fire has never been more fun than with the Braai. A traditional South African custom, “having a Braai” means grilling meat and sharing it with friends and family.
The whole Braai experience start with the ember maker. You start your Braai fire in the ember maker, and the braai will provide you with an endless supply of nice hot embers unlike any other barbecue.
The Braai is fully modular, which means that accessories can be exchanged at any time. Chicken on the rotisserie and vegetables on the plancha, this is all possible at the same time on the FS1200/Duo.
All accessories can also be used in the Braai FS800/Single, but they must be used one after the other as the FS800 has only one cooking space.

Trick: the direct heat from the ember maker can be used for cooking with a cast-iron pan. Perfect for high-temperature cooking (the use of BBQ gloves is a must here!).

The Braai: freestanding or built-in model?

The Braai is a kitchen, barbecue, and fireplace that can be used indoors or outdoors, either freestanding or built-in.
Even the freestanding model can be installed indoors. Therefore, the choice of model depends entirely on the situation.

The freestanding model is most commonly placed outdoors. Regardless of where it is placed, it is highly resistant to cold and retains heat thanks to its double-walled hood and chimney. The flue cap prevents rain from entering and sparks from escaping from the flue.

But this model is also perfect under a shelter, and thanks to the option of an adapter with a chimney cover, the freestanding Braai is very easy to install indoors.
This freestanding Braai is available with or without a base and in Corten steel or stainless steel. The base is a storage unit for wood located under the barbecue.

The built-in model is also ideal for indoor or outdoor installation. It can even replace a fireplace — see the following paragraph for more information.
