    The Braai wood-burning barbecue can be used both indoors and outdoors. This solid Corten steel model can be placed anywhere: in a garden, on a terrace, next to a swimming pool or even inside a pool house or veranda.

    The Braai barbecue is lit with wood and is built around a central element called a "firebox". Logs of wood are placed in this stainless steel element and the bars constituting the floor of this firebox allow these logs to be held, while allowing the embers to escape.     Cooking over a wood fire has never been so enjoyable with the Braai

    The principle of this wood barbecue is not very complicated.
    First, you need to put logs of wood vertically in the firebox and light it. The firebox has bars underneath it, allowing both to hold the logs and to let the embers escape. Once the embers have fallen, you can now spread them out on the surface where you plan to heat and grill your food. You can also leave the embers in the middle if you have fairly large pieces of meat in order to cook them over time.

    For long cooking times, you may need to add logs to renew the embers.

    All you have to do is watch your food cook, the Braai takes care of the rest.

    Le Braai; barbecue, grill, four & cheminée extérieure

    • Cuisiner au feu de bois n'a jamais été aussi agréable qu'avec le Braai. De coutume ancestrale sud-africaine, "faire un Braai" signifie faire cuire de la viande et la partager avec ses proches.
      Le Braai s'articule autour d'une "boîte à feu", les braises y tombent et permettent une cuisson à l'ancienne des aliments sans contact direct avec les flammes.
    • Le Braai est entièrement modulable, ce qui signifie que les accessoires peuvent être échangés à tout moment. Un poulet sur le tournebroche et des légumes sur la plancha, tout cela est possible en même temps sur le FS1200.
      Dans le Braai FS800, tous les accessoires peuvent également être utilisés, mais il faut les utiliser l'un après l'autre car le FS800 n'a qu'un seul espace de cuisson.

      Astuce : la chaleur directe de la boîte à feu peut être utilisée pour la cuisson en utilisant une casserole en fonte. Parfait pour la cuisson à haute température (l'utilisation de gants bbq est obligatoire ici !)

    Le Braai, modèle indépendant ou encastrable?

    Le Braai est une cuisine, un barbecue et une cheminée qui peut être utilisée à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, qu'elle soit indépendante ou encastrée.
    Mais, un modèle indépendant/prêt à poser peut aussi très bien être installé a l'intérieur d'une pièce. Le choix du modèle dépend donc entièrement de la situation.

    Dans un premier temps, le modèle prêt à poser est souvent posé à l'extérieur. Quel que soit l'endroit où il est posé, il résiste très bien au froid et garde la chaleur grâce à sa hotte en double paroi et à sa cheminée. Le chapeau du conduit de fumée évite que la pluie ne rentre et que des étincelles ne sortent du conduit.
    Mais ce modèle est également parfait sous un abri, et grâce à la possibilité d'avoir d'un adaptateur avec un cache cheminée, ce braai est très facile à installer à l'intérieur.

    Ce Braai prêt à poser (avec socle) et à poser (sans socle) est disponible en acier Corten ou en Inox. Le socle est un meuble sous le barbecue pour ranger le bois.

    Le modèle encastrable est également parfait pour une installation à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Il peut même remplacer la cheminée ; plus d'informations à ce sujet dans le paragraphe suivant.

    Le Braai, modèle encastrable ou indépendant?

    Le Braai est une cuisine, un barbecue et une cheminée qui peut être installé aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, en pose libre ou encastré.
    Le modèle encastrable explique en fait par son nom à quoi il est destiné ; ce Braai doit vraiment être encastré et nécessite donc de la maçonnerie et une finition.
    Ce projet peut en revanche être réalisé aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.

    L'encastrement d'un Braai dans la pierre sous une pergola est vraiment magnifique. Grâce à la forme de ce braai et au fait qu'il est encastré, le Braai devient visuellement une véritable cheminée.
    Il y a donc beaucoup de possibilités avec un Braai encastré de 80 ou 120 cm.

    Quelle est la différence avec un modèle prêt à poser/à poser ?
    Tout d'abord, la forme et le fait que ce modèle peut être installé sans travaux de maçonnerie, ce qui rend l'installation plus rapide et plus facile.
    Il n'y a pas d'autres différences car le principe et le fonctionnement du Braai sont toujours les mêmes.
