Product description

Safretti’s Prometheus collection: fire in all its elegance

Quality, warmth, relax and conviviality: Safretti’s Prometheus bioethanol fireplaces invite you to enjoy the fire and create a cosy atmosphere in your home, without the need for a flue.

Easy to install, they fit into a wide range of spaces, including apartments, provided the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding installation, ventilation and room size are followed.

With their sculptural lines and realistic flames, the Prometheus models add a contemporary and elegant touch to your décor. Their design plays on the convex and concave shapes of powder-coated aluminium.

Conceived by designer Frans Schrofer, this collection is available in a range of shapes and colours.

Three models, same signature style: Safretti design and the beauty of the flame.

Prometheus Round

The beauty of fire from every angle. With its rounded, harmonious shape, this fireplace is a true decorative feature.

The pleasure of a real flame, without a flue

Powered by bioethanol, Prometheus fireplaces require neither a flue nor a gas connection. Combustion produces neither soot nor ash, but it does consume oxygen and releases carbon dioxide and water vapour: good ventilation and adherence to the minimum recommended room volume for the model are therefore essential.

The removable burner in the Prometheus Round RB and RG models has a capacity of 2 litres and offers an approximate burn time of 6 to 8 hours.

Depending on the model and the space you have available, choose the fireplace that best suits your décor — in a sitting room, living room or reception area.

Derived from plant sources, bioethanol emits no odour or smoke and very little CO₂.

A bioethanol-fuelled fireplace, without the inconvenience of wood or ash. Simply fill the burner with bioethanol, light it, and real flames will appear

Depending on the model and your space, choose the fireplace that best suits your décor and the atmosphere you wish to create — from the living room to a reception area.

Installation & use

Installing a bioethanol fireplace requires no construction work: no flue, so no restrictions!

The installation therefore does not require a flue, but it must comply with the specific instructions for the model, in particular the safety distances and the minimum room volume.

Safretti specifies, for example, room volumes of 87 m³ for certain single-burner models and 120 m³ for certain double-burner models. Always refer to the instruction manual for your chosen model to find out the exact requirements.

For safe use:

Never move the fireplace whilst it is lit or still hot.
Never refill a burner whilst it is lit or still hot. Extinguish the flame and allow the burner to cool completely before refilling it.
Use only the fuel recommended by the manufacturer and follow the instructions carefully.
